About me

My name is Lucrezia and I am a licensed tour guide in Venice providing guided tours since 2018!

venice local guide

I was born and raised in the northern “Sestiere” (district) of Venice: Cannaregio.
Since I was a child I’ve always been curious about different countries and cultures and I enjoyed studying foreign languages, that’s why I chose to study at the Touristy High School of Venice and after graduating I decided to study Economics of Tourism and Arts at the University of Venice – Ca’ Foscari. Meanwhile I had some chances to travel as well, I visited most of the European countries, spending some weeks in the Uk, France and Spain to study, but I also had the chance to travel to Russia thanks to my University and to the United States.
But my love for my city, Venice, has never faded over the years, and this is why I decided to become a tour guide.
Since 2018, I have been guiding travelers through the history, art, and traditions of Venice, sharing not only the famous landmarks but also the hidden corners and stories that make this city so unique. My goal is to offer authentic and engaging experiences that allow visitors to discover Venice through the eyes of a local and truly connect with the spirit of the city.

Why you would enjoy a tour with me:

I will mix historical details with hints about local traditions and lifestyle to make you feel like a local in Venice.

If you’d like to see the “Highlights of Venice”, such as Rialto Bridge, St. Mark’s Sq. etc. , I can take you there and help you to unveil secrets and disclose stories even there, showing you the almost unperceivable signs that time left on the buildings.

I can guide you through the Islands of the lagoon: Murano, famous for the glass production, but also Burano, where we’ll admire the famous colorful houses and, last but not least, Torcello.

I can customize all the tours for you, according to your preferences and interests.

Would you prefer a food tour experience, to try the local “Cicchetti” and wines? I’m the queen of “aperitivo”:) I can take you to the best local osterias in town!

I’m truly passionate about Venice and its traditions and I can take you in those hidden areas of the city that only true Venetians know.
